The protective cap has a recessed trigger that prevents accidental discharge and is equipped with a clip. Due to the special shape of the cap, the spray jet is automatically directed towards the attacker.

The TW1000 CS Defense Sprays generate a powerful conical flow spreading the irritant over a large area, making it easier to hit moving targets. The cone-shaped spray pattern increases accuracy and leads to complete irritation of the attacker's eyes and respiratory organs. The risk of missing the attacker due to inaccurate aiming is minimized.

CS gas

CS gas is the defining component of tear gas used as a riot control agent. It was tested and developed in the 1950s in secret at Porton Down in Wiltshire, England.
The effect of CS gas on a person depends on the form in which it is used and the duration of exposure to it, as well as the form in which it is used, as a solution or as an aerosol, the size of CS particles being an important factor of its effect on the human body.
The chemical agent reacts with the moisture on the skin and eyes, causing a strong immediate burning sensation. The effects usually include severe tearing of the eyes, coughing, nasal secretions, burning sensation on the skin and mucous membranes, as well as disorientation, dizziness, nausea and difficulty breathing. In more concentrated doses, it can induce severe coughing and vomiting. The effects usually disappear after about an hour, although the burning sensation on the skin will persist for several hours.
